In Conclusion…

We have very successfully concluded our 2011 Old Timers Festival!  This was the first year we extended it to a three-day event and tried to use most of Veterans Memorial Park and – while we gained very valuable insight on how to make it even better - the overwhelming feedback from guests has been positive.  THANK YOU to everyone who enjoyed our entertainment, the rides, or if you just stopped by to say hello to your friends and neighbors!

The City of LaVergne would like to extend a special thanks to our sponsors, food vendors (who didn’t love those chicken & dumplins and kettle corn??),  the crafters, the civic groups, fire department personnel, and our very professional police force.  You were the backbone of our success!

We would also like to take a moment to recognize the army of city workers and volunteers whose dedication to their jobs and commitment to their community made the event possible. For a full list of names, jump ahead…City Worker Volunteers
